Len Alkemade a native of the Noordwijk province of South Holland now living in Tokyo, Japan—began his career in floral design over three decades ago, working in various floral shops throughout the Netherlands. After graduating with a master’s degree from a top floral school in the Hague, Len embarked on a two-year professional stint in both Australia and New Zealand before traveling to Asia.

In 1989, Len launched his own floral design studio - Aurora Japan Incorporated. Aurora soon gained Len international notoriety as both the sole Japanese representative for the Flower Council of Holland and chief flower designer for the Dutch Heineken Pavilion during the Nagano Olympic Games. Since then, Len has also published no less than six flower design books and coordinated flower exhibitions throughout Asia, including Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and South Korea.

Now, Len’s stunning designs will be showcased in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City at the Dutch Flower Design Show. The event featuring the most beautiful of European floral creations will celebrate Dutch innovation and design at its very best, and certainly its most beautiful.

The Dutch Flower Design Show takes place on November 24 at the Grand Palace Wedding and Convention Center, located at 142/18 Cong Hoa, ward 4, Tan Binh district. The event will be open from 8AM to 12.30PM.
